/ BIO ARTISTE
Mokosh is a self-taught painter from Brussels.
Very early on she discovered that she wanted to share her vision of the world and to use art as a means of expression. She started out as a dancer and trained as a photographer, and for years she has been immersed in the urban and contemporary arts.
In 2010, after having tried graffiti, she decided to train in contemporary art and study graphic design in Brussels. She took some drawing classes at the academy of fine arts in Brussels and trained herself to paint.
Today Mokosh is exhibiting her work in Brussels and in Switzerland where she now lives.
In 2020, during her first exhibition, Mokosh tackled the setbacks of Women in the current society. Using photography to create her portraits, she then turned to spray paint and acrylics to share her thoughts on hope and emancipation.
From roar to libertarian messages filled with humanism and love, her works are above all pure fragments of wild poetry.
Her works often encourage reflection. They tell us about our conflicts, about what makes us human and what could help us become better.
